Climate Change on Water Resources and Water System: Impacts and Responses
Climate change is a big environmental challenge which has great impacts on global water resources and urban water supply system. Observational records and climate projections provide abundant evidence that freshwater resources are vulnerable and have the potential to be strongly impacted by climate change, with wide-ranging consequences for human societies and ecosystems. How to manage the water system in a changing world climate and making longterm water system planning and management decisions has became a global challenge. This study aims to summarize and discuss the potential adaptation strategies on water to climate change from the sustainable development perspective
