Research on Cell Formation Problem in the Context of Flexible Cellular Manufacturing
Cellular manufacturing is an approach that can be used to enhance both flexibility and efficiency in todays small lot and multi-type production environment Focused on manufacturing cell formation and resources layout problems, in the context of complex manufacturing environment a flexible manufacturing cell formation model integrating the thought of physical manufacturing cell and logical manufacturing cell is proposed in this research. Production flexibility can be enhanced and manufacturing cost can be reduced by using this model.
