A Practical Internet of Things System for Mine Application

This paper introduces a practical monitoring system, which integrates RFID transceivers with kinds of pressure sensors to enable to locate the real time position of miners under the mine as well as to detect kinds of pressure parameters, which are critical for the mining process. The background UDP software platform uses a modified round robin algorithm to communicate with sub-stations under the mine to obtain the real-time information. User platform uses the B/S structure to enable end users to use the IE browser only to access the system anywhere with Internet connected .
