Study on Operating Effect for Different Influent Mode of Anaerobic Baffled Reactor
The performance of a laboratory scale divsional influent anaerobic baffled reactor (DI-ABR) was studied, which adopted four spots and three spots influent, in order to prevent volatile fatty acids (VFA) from accumulating overly that which is brought by high organic loading in the first compartment. The experiment compared with single influent anaerobic baffled reactor (SI-ABR) under the different conditions of the hydraulic retention time (HRT) and organic loading. The experimental results showed that the difference of microorganism was very apparent between DI-ABR and SIABR. the most microorganism in DI-ABR was hydrolysis acidification bacteria, the divisional influent could increase the function of hydrolysis and acidification, and the COD removal rate of DI-ABR was improved about 5%-10% as compared to SI-ABR through adjusting properly operating parameter and influent manner for different wastewater, the effluent B/C value of DI-ABR was up to 56%.
