Preparation of Activated Carbon from Agricultural Wastes and Analysis of Pore Structure
Technology of preparing activated earbon from cotton stalk witb ZnCl2 assisted by muffle furnace was studied. The optimum technology was obtained through orthogonal test The sample was observed by SEM and compared with eommercial activated carbon. It was found that cotton stalk activated charcoal has enricbed and developed cellular pore structure that was the reason why the value of methylene blue idsorption of cotton stalk aaivated carbon is 3.62 times to commercial actwated carbon.
