Study on the Semantic Annotation Approach for Professional Documents Based on Domain Ontology Partition
This paper researches semantic annotation for professional documents on the web by using existed domain ontologies, and then proposes a semantic annotation approach for professional documents based on domain ontology partition. Firstly, we divide the domain ontology according to certain rules to form some domain ontology segments, and then, choose the most similar domain ontology segment(s) via calculating the semantic similarity between professional documents and domain ontology segments. Finally, professional documents are annotated by the segments. The experimental results show that the approach we have proposed improves both efficiency and accuracy.
