Narrowing the Gap between Expectations and Reality with Collective Reflections

摘要：

The 2008 fall semester experience of SDU being intitiated into the Global Understanidng Project has been a fruitful and enlightening one. The high expec tations of SDU faculty and students met with some unexpected reality. Yet through collective reflection both in the form or oral sharing and journal writing, the semester has proved to be beneficial to the students in more than one way.
