Analysis of the Event of 2002 July 23rd

A large complex burst was recorded on 2002 July 23rd with the spec trometers in Yunnan Observatory/National Astronomical Observatories and Huairou Station. Combining with the Ha and HXR data, some prominent features in this burst are analyzed in this present paper. We suggest that the acceleration region of the electrons is located in the outer corona corresponding to the layer of the plasma frequency of about 625 MHz The magnetic reconnection may occur many times, and the decay phase after the magnetic reconnection was the acceleration process due to the turbulence.
