Study on Possible GeV Emission from H 1426+428
Very high energy photons (~TeV) from blazars are absorbed partly through γγ-annihilation with photons from extragalactic background light (EBL), and con verted to e±pairs. the produced e±pairs is propelling inverseCompton cascade which result in secondary photons production. In such a case, the origin of GeV emis sion include two components both intrinsic component (source component through synchrotron-self Compton) and secondary photons production (external component). We use this model to study the possible GeV emission from H 1426 +428 with different EBL cases. Our results indicate that the GeV emission from external component will dominate over that from (Cii)e source component if intergalactic magnetic field (IGMF) strength is weaker than 10-20G and the intensity in the stellar component of the EBL should be high or medium. We discuss the possibility of the GeV-TeV emission detected by the FGST and possible constraints of the EBL.
