Influence of Bulk Velocity Structures on the Observed Spectra of AGN Jet
The influence of transverse bulk velocity structures on the observed spectra of AGN jets is studied. It is found that the influence shows complex and interesting pattems in different viewing angles. Under a small viewing angles, the jet with uniform bulk velocity has larger observed flux than the jet with bulk velocity structures in the same jet power. However, following the increase of viewing angles, the opposite phenomenon appears. The results might help us to further understand the variability of jet flux and the unified schemes of Active Galactic Nuclei (AGNs).
