Relationships between the Three Types of Pulse Lags in Long-Iag GRBs
We calculate the three types of pulse lags in longlag GRBs with the pulse peaking time (tpeak), the pulse centroid time (tcen), and the cross-correlation function (CCF). We find that the lag calculated by CCF is strongly correlated with that derived from tpek, while the lag derived from tcen is less correlated with that derived from tpeak and CCF. In addition, the centroid lag is systematically larger than both the peak lag and the CCF lag. It is possible that the different types of lag measurements could be used as a tool for probing aspects of pulse evolution.
