End-to-end Simulation for the Cabin Suspension of FAST Telescope

Concerning the dynamic analysis and performance verification of the cabin suspension of the FAST (Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope), a recommended design concept is selected as the baseline and its 1:1 end-to-end 8imula tion has been finished. The 8imulation model establishes an overall control architecture for the whole suspension sy8tem. A detailed analysis has been carried out for the sim ulations of the important components and subsystems. Three kinds of disturbances which probably have great infiuences on the final control errors are specially studied and wind is proved to contribute the most part. The expected control accuracy is achieved in the simulation, which proves the feasibility of the baseline design concept.
