Astronomical Site Survey and Evaluation in West China

摘要：

The progress of astronomical site survey in western China is briefly re viewed and the site testing results at two candidate sites, Oma in Tibet and Karasu in Pamirs are reported. The site evaluation is made upon the monitoring data sets and comparison with other good international astronomical sites. The future plan of the site survey program is also presented, in order to enhance collaborative site-testing campaigns and to promote telescope programs for the candidate sites.
