CONSTELLATIONS: The Ancient Cultures of Indonesia
Since thousand years ago, there are so many stories of the heavenly bodies, and of the universe. This has begun first from folklore in oral tradition, generations to generations even until now. Here, the naming of starry-night objects with the naked eyes in the historical pattern is the major theme. Especially about how the ancient people made the identification of the sky then mapping the stars into constellations included Zodiac, for practical tools in the daily life. One point in this case is the ancient cultures of Indonesia especially in Central Java (and Bali), as the comparison to other cultures.
