Comparativity and Functional Inter-lingual Stylistics
1.Intralingual Comarative Stylistics Halliday says, Stylistic analysis is comparative in nature ( Halliday, 1973).In intralingual studies, a writers stylistic choices are always implicitly compared with potential alternatives or the general norm of the language, or a norm of a register or genre, etc.Moreover, the stylistic choices of one text are often compared with those of another in the same genre or register, or those of a text in another genre or register.
