Face Recognition with 3D Real-time Face Imaging System based on LOGMAP
3D human face recognition with 3D imaging technology is a frontier in image processing and pattern recognition. The 3Dreal-time human face imaging system based on CIS is able to obtain corresponding 2D gray data and 3D depth data from human face. Dimensionality reduction of high-dimensional observation data is the key problem of face recognition. This paper applies LOGMAP theory to dimensionality reduction of 2D facial gray data 3D depth data. Tests show that the recognition results based on dimensionality reduction with LOGMAP perform well.
