Study on Path Evolution and Strategy of E-govemment in China
Electronic government (E-government) has become government important tools of innovative management and improving efficiency. E-government involves using information technology, and especially the internet, to improve the delivery of government services to citizens, businesses, and other government agencies. By 2010, China has become the worlds second largest economy, but Chinese e-government progress is far from mature. This paper firstly discusses the e-government concept and stage and then, analyzes the Chinese e-government development situation since the 1990s. This paper therefore studies Chinese e-government facing challenges and opportunities. Finally, this study proposes the Chinese e-government future direction and strategy after the foregoing discussion.
