Application of Five Processes of Project Management Based on PMBOK-2008 Standard to Run EPM-2010 Project Management System: A Case Study of Arya Hamrah Samaneh Co.
Different solutions and systems have been proposed in regard to project management in recent years but the majority of them are based on individual performance of project manager or the person responsible for planning and controlling the projects on the basis of projects documentations and thus it is not possible for the other members of the project team to access the main data of the project As a result, Arya Hamrah Samaneh Co. Embarked upon implementing Enterprise Project Management (EPM 2010) while creating an atmosphere that encourages cooperation in the team and for the different processes of project management in order to provide the possibility of maintaining different data relating to projects. This article attempts to investigate EPM 2010 in Arya Hamrah Samaneh Co. In order to do this, we first review the history of EPM 2010 and different data systems so to introduce the status of EPM 2010. Next, we will investigate how this project is implemented in Arya Hamrah Samaneh Co and the results will be presented. Finally, a number of suggestions have been offered to reduce the time and the costs of implementing this system as well as to improve the method of implementation.
