Green Transformation in China: From Sustainable Development to Ecological Modernization
The green transformation in China has two appeals of the ideal and the realistic aspect, and the achievement of the ideal appeal of the green transformation must take a realistic path based on the realistic one. The existing sustainable development is a kind of soft green, it mainly shows the ideal appeal of the green transformation, and its policy practice or social action turns out different understanding or divergence. Comparatively, the ecological modernization is the kind of hard green, and it shows the realistic appeal of the green transformation, because of its continuing to the sustainable development idea, the pragmatic and rational practice, and holding a special adaptability to Chinese ecological civilization context. So, its possible that the ecological modernization will be a realistic path option for the green transformation in China.
