Study on Low-carbon Tourism Development of Changdao Island in Low-carbon Economy
Low-carbon tourism is a new travel form under the enviornment of low-carbon economy. As a special geographical unit, the ecological environment is fragile and the environment bearing capacity is poor in island area. So it is particularly necessary to develop low-carbon tourism for islands. Firstly, this paper reviews the concept of low-carbon economy and low-carbon tourism, and then analyses the necessity of low-carbon tourism for Changdao Island. Based on these, the paper proposed four strategies in the end, that is building low-carbon atmosphere, establishing low-carbon tourism installations, promoting lowcarbon lifestyle and developing low-carbon tourism products and projects.
