Empirical Study of Relation Between Foreign Direct Investment and Environmental Pollution in Hubei Province

摘要：

This paper focuses on the relation between FDI (Foreign Direct Investment) and environmental issues in Hubei Province, which gives a reasonable basis of capital attraction strategy from an environmental angle. The test of intrinsic relations between FDI and environmental pollution in Hubei Province indicates that that changes in foreign direct investment in Hubei Province is the Granger cause of environmental pollution, which is to say the increase in foreign direct investment exacerbate the environmental pollution, and feasible policy recommendations of strengthening and improving are put forward on the basis of this test.
