Vagueness in English Business Negotiations

摘要：

In English business negotiation, the skillful use of vague language in most cases can improve the effect of negotiations. Under the guidance of Grices Cooperative Principle, this article analyzes the application and possible pragmatic functions of the vague language in English business negotiations.
