EFFECT OF PRETREATMENT ON BLEACHABILITY OF THE LARCH IN NORTHEAST CHINA
Chemical compositions of larch were analyzed firstly. The raw material which was pretreated by sodium oxalate and sodium hydroxide was prepared for pulping. The effect of compressing and different bleaching agents on the bleachability of larch CTMP was studied. The results showed that the compressing could increase bleachability and brightness of pulp comparing with the original chips. Among different pretreatment agents, the brightness of pulp pretreated by alkaline peroxide was the highest, followed by sodium oxalate, and the lowest one was sodium hydroxide. The effect of FAS bleaching on brightness of pulp pretreated by sodium oxalate was obvious than by sodium hydroxide. NaBH4 had a greater effect on the brightness than FAS, and increasing the dosage had no obvious effect.
