EFFECT OF ENDOGLUCANASE PRETREATMENT ON REFINING PROPERTY AND FIBER MORPHOLOGY OF MASSON PINE TMP

Masson Pine TMP was pretreated by endoglucanase Novozym 476 to increase its refining property. The results indicated that while the pulp was pretreated by enzyme, the degree of refining increased gradually while either the enzyme dosage or the reaction time increased. Pretreated with Novozym 476 at 0.6IU/g in 50℃, 7.0pH for 1.0h, the refining energy consumption of Masson Pine TMP would decrease about 50%, and the fiber length was not affected. But the drainage of fiber was decreased. OEM images and SEM images indicated that the enzymatic pretreatment increased the porosity of fiber, it made the fiber easy to swelling and the cell wall was easy to peel off.
