THE ON-LINE MONITORING AND DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM FOR REFINING PROCESS
Refining process is an important part of the mechanical pulping. However, it’s easy to be disturbed by upstream and downstream links and final pulp quality will be impacted by poor controlling under this condition. Too large motor load is also an obvious shortcoming. This paper has designed an online monitoring and diagnosis system for refining process. The design based on the concept of new generation of automatic system for the paper industry and made use of shared database and windows technology. The function of this system included online report and diagnosis, problem trended display, remote maintenance and so on. So the system was configured to optimize refining process while achieving the energy reduction objective.
