Characterization of A New Multivariate Ageing Notion: An Example
Basically, reliability theory is concerned with determining the probability that a system will work. Therefore, the problem is essentially to determine the life distribution of the system. Usual statistical methods are to fit a life distribution function based on a set of the observed lifetime data. Multivariate lifetime data frequently arise, and in these situations it is important to consider different multivariate distributions and their ageing properties that could be used to model them. Here, we introduce and characterize a new multivariate ageing property that can be used to model tumor growth.
