Integrated SPC/EPC Control of PVC Glove Production Process
The production of PVC gloves is a special manufacturing type of which the production line is started with feed liquid filling; ended with finished products—the gloves after continuous procedures, such as filtering, evacuation, stewing and so on. However, the unstable technologies, nonstandard equipment and the lack of universities and institutes researching in this field, the overall technical ability is relatively low, in spite of the large market overseas. This paper conducted studies on reliability enhancement of glove quality—an integrated control policy was raised to minimize the process fluctuation, stabilize the output quality and finally improve the process reliability. The theory and methods were verified in the case study of PVC production control.
