Stability Analysis of A Repair Model for A Cold Standby System with Priority in Use and Repair

A deteriorating cold standby repairable system consisting of two dissimilar components and one repairman is studied in this paper. It is assumed that the life of each component is exponentially distributed, repair time of the component has a general continuous distribution and component 1 has priority in use and repair. By using the Co-semigroup theory and analyzing the spectra distribution of the system operator, the unique existence of the solution, the non-negative steady-state solution and the asymptotical stability of the system are derived.
