Maintenance Policies for a Random Finite Interval
We consider optimal maintenance policies for a random finite interval. Then, we make following models: (i) periodic and sequential inspection, (ii) periodic and sequential replacement with minimal repair, (iii) imperfect PM. We obtain the total expected costs, and derive analytically optimal policies which minimizes the costs. Numerical examples are given when the times to failure are exponential or weibull distributions.
