Empirical Bayes Estimation of Parameters from Burr-XⅡ Distribution Based on Progressively Type-Ⅱ Censored Samples
Based on progressively type-Ⅱ censored samples, the empirical Bayes estimator and its asymptotical optimality of Burr-XⅡ distribution are studied. Under scaled squared error loss, the empirical Bayes estimator of the unknown parameter is derived. Using moment method, the hyper-parameters are estimated. We also prove that the empirical Bayes estimator of the parameter is asymptotically optimal. Finally, an example is presented in order to illustrate the method discussed here.
