Solid Rocket Motor Grain Life Prediction Based on Probability Model
A life prediction model of probability statistics is introduced in this paper. On the basis of experiment research, grain life prediction is made by the life prediction model using probability statistics. Firstly, viscoelasticity structure analysis and stochastic structure analysis of grain are implemented and maximum strain and variance are figured out. In stochastic structure analysis, viscoelasticity random finite element method is used. Then the experiment data of billet natural aging and motor dissection are processed respectively. Based on above analysis, grain life is studied by model using probability statistics on basis of two experiments data. In the end, comparison of the ignition test of motor with flight test shows that it is reasonable to determine grain life by the motor dissection experiment data, and grain life resulting from billet natural aging experiment data is shorter than its real life.
