Study on Remanufacture Based on Customers Environmental Preference
The influences of consumer preferences on the remanufacture are studied and the issue on supply chain members coordination about the ration of remanufacture is analyzed. The conclusions show that the level of remanufacturing will be higher when more of the consumers are environmentalists. In addition, when the environmentalists preferences are stronger, the optimal level of remanufacture will be higher. In the supply chain context, the manufacturers optimal remanufacturing level is less than that of the entire supply chain. In this situation, retailers can incent the manufacturer to enhance remanufacturing rate through providing an environmental protection subsidy. And then, supply chain coordination can be achieved.
