An Application of Workflow Oriented Collaborative Manufacturing Management

摘要：

With the information networks development in the workflow management* strategic collaborative manufacturing plays an important role in improving business performance. This paper focuses on the process and application of workflow management modules oriented collaborative manufacturing in product data management (PDM). The research begins with the utilization efficiency of information networks, which was troubled by information silo problems, and then the collaborative manufacturing plays an important role in dealing with the modeling problem of the workflow management modules in PDM platform. Strategies are also discussed in this paper. Finally, based on an introducing case which is the collaborative improving process of an important parts mould, we establish workflow management modeling by Petri-nets and analyze operational procedures of this modeling, and take an in-depth look at future research interests.
