Patients One hundred consecutive knees underwent MAT between December 1996 and December 2008. All operations were done by the senior author. There were 77 cases of lateral meniscus allograft transplantation (LMAT) in 73 patients (51 male and 22 female) and 23 cases of medial meniscus allograft transplantation (MMAT) in 23 patients (19 male and 4 female). Minimum follow-up duration was 2 years (range, 2 - 13.6 years).
