REVISION SHOULDER ARTHROPLASTY
During the 2001 Nice Shoulder Course, the results of two thousand shoulder prosthesis were reviewed. A special interest was noted in the study of complications and reoperations. A complication listing was made on the 1842 Aequalis prosthesis done in first intention with at least 2 years of follow-up (table 1 and 2). Those prostheses were implanted by 57 surgeons (Europe and South Africa) from 1991 to 1998. Degenerative or inflammatory arthropathies represent 1542 prosthesis implanted and 300 prostheses were done after fractures of proximal humerus.
