ON STRATEGY OF THE DELIVERY LEAD TIME MANAGEMENT FOR A SUPPLER IN THE SUPPLY CHAIN

In this paper, a delivery time model is set up in the supply chain environment for a supplier, and an optimal strategy is given under the assumption that manufacturer ’s demand follows the Poison distribution while supplier’s response time follows the exponential one. The aim is to provide a decision making basis for the supplier, to treat the relationship among cost, delivery time and service quality, so that the customs can be satisfied in the lower cost.
