AN EMPERICIAL STUDY ABOUT FRANCHISE RELATIONSHIP BEHAVIORSS IMPACTS ON FRANCHISEES PERFORMANCE IN FASTFOOD INDUSTRY

Franchise relationship behaviours (FRB) and franchise relationship quality (FRQ) are both closely related to the success of franchise system. With the method of depth interview to the fast-food franchise company, we firstly identified FRB and FRQS dimensions, and then proposed an integrated framework, which depict the relationship between the FRB and the franchisees operation performance (FOP). The empirical results show the franchise corporations supervise and support behaviours will have significantly positive influence on FRQ and FOP. Whats more the franchisees satisfaction has significant positive impact on FOP In addition, the connection among the FRB, FRQ and FOP are changing during the different stages of the contract. The results have important practical significance for franchise corporation to develop franchise relationship governance and promote FOP.
