Stable Difference Method for the Korteweg-de Vries Equation for Small Times

摘要：

In this paper, the application of the stable difference method for the Korteweg-de Vries (Kdv) equation is presented. The KdV equation obtain its approximate analytical solutions at small times by boundary conditions and a set of initial conditions. The numerical results obtained are compared with not only exact solutions but also other numerical results obtained by using various numerical methods. It is seen that numerical results agree with exact solutions.
