Well-posedness of the interior transmission problem for isotropic Maxwell equation equationssss
The interior transmission problem appears naturally in scattering problems for an inhomogeneous medium. In this paper, we study the interior transmission problem for Maxwell equations in the electromagnetic scattering problem for an isotropic inhomogeneous obstacle, which is partially coated by a very thin layer of high conductivity. By using a variational argument, the well-posedness of the interior transmission problem is established, which extends the results of 15 to the conductive boundary value problem case.
