A Study on the Application of Contingent Valuation Method in of Public Weather Service

Condition Valuation Method (CVM) is an important value assessment method that widely used in Ecological (Environmental) Economics; it has unique advantages in the quantitative assessment of the value of natural resources. By questionnaire, CVM reflects the value under the influence of environment,and it is a theory of strong evaluation. This method is used to analyze public weather service. Considers the uncertainty, effectiveness assessment of public weather service is done by establishing Dichotomy Logistic model. Using national sample survey data, we compare it the traditional willingness to pay. Dichotomy Logistic model is more objective when used to do a quantitative assessment of nation public weather service.
