New ellipsoidal bound of reachable set for linear neutral systems with time-varying discrete delays
In this paper, we consider the problem of finding an ellipsoidal bound of reachable sets for neutral systems with bounded peak disturbances. Based on the modified augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii type functional, we obtain a delay-dependent result expressed in the form of matrix inequalities containing only one non-convex scalar. Furthermore, a descriptor model transformation and the decomposition technique of discrete delay term matrix are used to obtain a “smaller ellipsoidal bound of reachable sets. An example is given to indicate significant improvements over some existing results.
