Pattern formation in aaaa vegetation model depending on fog-water

摘要：

In this paper, we show that a simple model based on the advection of fog-water by wind and its interception by the vegetation can reproduce banded patterns. The instability of the uniform equilibrium of the model is discussed and a mathematical analysis of the spatial pattern is presented. Furthermore, the banded pattern emerges when the advection is in presence by numerical simulation. The result may help us to understand better the dynamics of ecosystems.
