Complex Dynamical Behavior in a Mutual Interference Predator-Prey System with Nonmonotonic Function Response Concerning IPM

A mutual interference predator-prey system with nonmonotonic functional response concerning IPM is introduced. By using Floquet theorem and small amplitude perturbation skills, a locally asymptotically stable prey-eradication periodic solution is obtained when the impulsive period is less than some critical value. Otherwise, the system is permanent. Numerical examples show that the system considered has more complicated dynamics, such as: high-order periodic oscillation, period-halfing bifurcation, symmetry-breaking bifurcation, attractor crisis, several attractors coexist, etc. Finally, a brief conclusion is given.
