Phase transitions for Bacterial colony model
A diffusion-reaction model for the growth of bacterial colonies is presented. By using the attractor bifurcation theory, we obtain the phase transition of the densities of the bacterial cells and give a complete characterization of the bifurcated objects in terms of the biological parameters of the problem.
