Research on mode parameter of high-yield breeding quantity characters for land cotton variety

Principal and path analysis method was applied to study 17 quantitative characters of the 15spring cotton zones varieties in Henan Province in 2006 and 2007, average value was taken on each characterof each same variety in these two years, and frequency analysis after multivariate polynomial regression andsimulated factor value was applied to get that the mode parameter of high-yield breeding quantity characterssatisfying yield 2 1500 / kg hm was plant height 97.67 99.60cm,initial branch 6.48 6.89 jets, branch numbers13.68 13.97 , per plant bolls 19.0819.27,per boll weight 6.146.18g, lint percentage 39.239.5%. Theexpected lint yield can reach 2 2196kg/hm .
