Grey Relational Analysis for Main Ecological Factors of Affecting Populus cathayana Seedling Height Growth
In this paper, the complex relationships between height of Populus cathayana seedling and related ecological factors were analyzed by application of gray correlation analysis method. Our results showed that: height growth of seedlings mainly depends on the total number of leaves, followed by the diameter size and photosynthetic rate, and finally the root ratio, specific leaf area, water use efficiency and leaf C content. However, height growth is almost independent on the total leaf area, total pigment content and leaf N content. On the other hand, there is a complicated relationship between main ecological factors related with seedling height growth.
