Stability analysis of a delayed model with lytic immune response for HIV infection 1

In this paper, we consider a delayed viral infection model with lytic immune response. We first investigate the existence and stability of the equilibrium. We then study the effect of the time delay on the stability of the infected equilibrium. The sufficient criteria for local and global asymptotic stabilities of the viral free equilibrium and the local asymptotic stability of the positive equilibrium are given. Moreover, by applying Sturm series, the length of delay is estimated for which stability continues to hold.
