The stability analysis of an SEIRS model
In this paper, nonlinear incidence with a more general form, vertical transmission and the immunity period are considered in an SEIRS epidemic model. The result shows that the stability of the disease free equilibrium depends on the immunity period besides the basic reproductive number. Furthermore, the stability of the unique endemic equilibrium can be obtained under some conditions depending on the immunity period. In addition, by numerical simulations, periodic solutions can be found from the endemic equilibrium when the immunity period is in some regions.
