Global Stability and Hopf Bifurcation of a Virus Infection Model with Time Delay and CTL Response

In this paper, a virus infection model with time delay and CTL response is studied. By analyzing the corresponding characteristic equations, the local stability of each of feasible equilibria of the model is investigated. The existence of Hopf bifurcation is eatablished. By constructing a suitable Lyapunov functional, the global stability of the infection-free equilibrium and the immune-free infection equilibrium are proved. Numerical simulations are carried out to illustrate the theoretical results.
