Global Dynamics of a Viral Infection Model with Chronically Infected Cells Response

In this paper, the global stability is analyzed for a viral infection model with chronically infected cells response. It is shown that if the basic reproduction number is less than one, the infection free equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, the infection is cleared, if the basic reproduction number is larger than one, the infection equilibrium is globally asymptotically stable, the infection persists. We also provide some numerical simulations which confirms our analysis.
